Welcome to my website. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and a member of the graduate faculty in the Economics Department at North Carolina State University.

My main research areas include labor economics and applied microeconomics. I am particularly interested in topics related to immigration, self-employment, and agricultural labor economics.

In addition to my research work, I am in charge of a new outreach (extension) program at NCSU related to agricultural labor in the US. I regularly interact with policy makers, reporters, and other stakeholders, and provide research-based information on policy-relevant issues.

I obtained my PhD in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis.
